Drifts Undiscovered

Contemplating wonder…

   Drifts Undiscovered

Now a light dusting
Of snow
Has fallen and gently blows
About in soft swirls trusting

The breeze to
Send it where it will
Hare and there ground uncovered

Bordered by fresh tiny drifts undiscovered
Where as yet no footsteps fell
The landscape renews

Itself and before again the people come rushing
Peace knows
A place and life flows
Gently and’s not quite so crushing

   -gl-

Contemplating life…
