Of heroics…?
Clashing Champions
Life and death in play?
Clashing champions decide
It’s superbpwl day

Of heroics…?
Clashing Champions
Life and death in play?
Clashing champions decide
It’s superbpwl day
-gl-
Of life and the struggle…?
Finally Quiet
They endlessly bray
Will they finally be quiet?
It’s election day
We’ve grown so weary
But gigs of sound bytes to go
Just the primary
-gl-
Regarding life and the struggle…
Forty Somethings
A buddy laughs at
The forty somethings whining
They’re not old or fat
-gl-
Regarding life, love, and commitment…
Time and Again
Twenty one years together
She finds it impossible to imagine
A life without him
It should have been forever
Still she wouldn’t trade even one year
To not feel the pain
She’ll stay here
For now near
To this awful pain
Embracing every last tear
And then she’ll move on but missing their life together
And the not holding him
But he will always be there time and again
Forever

Seeing the worth…
Shoveled His Drive
An old man says thanks
But I just shoveled his drive
For us he faced tanks
-gl-
Seeing nobility in the struggle…
One, Two
Still not discouraged
Our one eyed two legged pug
When I think courage
-gl-
Contemplating life and struggle…
Maybe If I
Bend and touch your nose
To what???! Well maybe if I
Lie and my nose grows
-gl-
Contemplating beauty and mystery…
Borealis
Show beyond belief
Aurora Borealis
Still safe what relief
-gl-
Contemplating redemption and responsibility…
Undone
Whatever wrongs done
Can’t ever be undone and
You can’t always run
-gl-
Of responsibility and nobility…
Built This Thing
Sometimes people do the right thing
After thirty five years it has been getting to be time to go
But what it seemed like most would do would only throw
Out all those that had helped him bring
His business thru all the rough years
The sacrifice
Not just
His alone. Dreams would have been dust
Without their lives
And tears
So now he has decided that the very thing
To do is just what’s right though many would not know
How. But his company will continue to grow
Because he’s left it to those that have built this thing
